Penny Rea & Nina
This is Penny riding Nina in the arena. Nina has had 20+ days of training. Penny has ridden her three different times in Nina's training process. She's a very calm, intelligent, & sensible horse. I'm enjoying training this filly.
I am a self-employed horse trainer and live on the Oregon-Idaho border. I grew up in Central Nevada on a large family owned cattle operation. I attended Eastern Oregon University and graduated with an agriculture business degree from Oregon State University. Upon completing my degree I went on and international internship to New Zealand (to work on a sheep and crop farm) and also to Australia (to work on a cattle station in the Outback). There I worked on the station with the cattle and also trained horses. I trained horses at a young age, but my experience in Australia made me realize it was what I wanted to do as a career. At college I met my wife, Kelsey. We have two young daughters.
